Learna are finalists for the Aesthetics Awards
Published: January 18, 2022We are excited to announce that we have been selected as a finalist for The Clinisept+Skin Award for the Independent Training Provider of the Year. It is such a great privilege and an incredible achievement to have our online cosmetic courses recognised in this way.
The awards honour the best and most prestigious in the aesthetic industry, welcoming both new and well established medical aestheticians together in order to celebrate the past year’s achievements.
We are incredibly proud to be nominated for our work with the Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) in delivering unique and innovative educational pathways, designed specifically for practitioners to reassure clients of their competency of practice, whilst equally demonstrating their prioritisation of public protection and safety. The specially selected categories are designed to acknowledge the incredible achievements and work in our industry – and so we are thrilled to have been selected as finalists!
Learna is the only approved educational provider to deliver the Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) Fast Track Assessment and continues to support the promotion of enhancing the professional knowledge underpinning practice in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine.
“It is fantastic to see Learna continue to develop both qualifications, courses and a fast track approach to enhance and support both the education and recognition of highly skilled cosmetic practitioners. By working with the JCCP to develop the Fast Track Assessment Centre, it shows that Learna understands the needs of their customers and are willing and able to develop appropriate ways to recognise the diverse needs of their customer’s in their quest to seek qualification and enhanced competency”.

Executive Chair and Registrar, Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP)
There Are Now 2 Routes to Become a Practitioner
As a Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioner (JCCP) approved educational provider, Learna has developed two approved pathways for aesthetic practitioners looking to register with the JCCP for both Botulinum Toxin and dermal filler treatments:
Route 1. A Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Medicine (PGCert) with an assessment of clinical practice the PGCert is validated by the University of South Wales.
Route 2. For the more experienced practitioner; the JCCP Fast-track assessment (FTA); a theoretical examination with an assessment of clinical practice.
A Little About the JCCP Fast-track Assessment
The JCCP Fast-track assessment is a unique and innovative pathway for practitioners to exhibit their prioritisation of public protection and safety while;
demonstrating an equivalent level of knowledge, skill and care as someone who's undertaken a regulated qualification.
and allow them to apply for JCCP registration without having to spend the time and money on a postgraduate qualification.
